Vision

From our founder and editor-in-chief:
Artist Manifesto
Maggy Modlibowska
As people, we communicate through the use of generalized definitions of what surrounds us. However, not everything can be defined, put into frames. It is no different with Art. Although it is defined and divided into strictly cordoned areas, some artists cannot find a way to express their sensitivity in commonly accepted definitions. They sneak out of the current frame and even combine many, perhaps at first glance, contradictory definitions. Thanks to this, new trends are born. Most often these seeds are very modest and only over the years and with the hindsight of history do researchers indicate the beginnings of a new one. But just being an undefined artist doesn’t have to mean building the foundations of something spectacular. After all, going beyond the frame is in itself a wonderful release of the artistic spirit.
When creating a magazine, I want to integrate, discuss, discover and document. But above all, I would like to immortalize the question for future generations: does art always have to be defined? So, what can be considered a masterpiece in any field if we go beyond all frames and definitions? I do not know the answer. But to search it together with artists can be a great adventure for everyone.
We invite you to this adventure and to co-create ART BEYOND the FRAME.
